Finance Ministry´s 2010 goal focuses on public services

BANGKOK, 28 December 2009 (NNT) – The Finance Ministry strives for stable and sustainable development of Thailand, aiming to steer forward the nation’s economy, says Finance Minister Korn Chatikavanij.

Mr Korn has recently delivered policies for the ministry’s officials in 2010, emphasizing on servicing the citizens, as well as the private sector. He said the ministry must have concrete achievements especially revenue collection and budget disbursement for the economic stimulus Strong Thailand Scheme.

Mr Korn also expressed his confidence that the projects next year would be a continuation of this year’s such as the income guarantee scheme for farmers, informal debt refinancing scheme, and measures to stimulate the economy.
