Nonthaburi praises TAPB for receiving workplace safety award

Thai Asia Pacific Brewery Co., Ltd. (TAPB) received an award for best workplace in safety, occupational health and work environment, emphasizing on its capacity as a high quality beer producer.

 

Mr. Surapol Wanichasenee, Deputy Governor of Nonthaburi province, stated that Nonthaburi aims to encourage any workplace in the province to lessen accidents and illnesses owing to work as well as instill a safety culture in the workplace. The province also incites government agencies, private sectors, workstations, employers, employees and general public to acquire and understand safety skills and advance the workplace standard from the provincial level to the national level, anticipating to decrease a work hazard rate, make employees happier, and benefit employers in production and financial aspects, includes help reduce overall country’s economic losses.

While Mr.Parinya Phuangsuwan, SHE Manager (Safety, Health and Environment Manager) of Thai Asia Pacific Brewery Company Limited, said that since all employees are the key factor of company’s success, the company constantly gives a precedence to their work safety. We highly appreciated that our employees participated in helping the company to pass the assessment criteria for workplace safety legislation, hazard rate, safety control, occupational health and work environment, risk evaluation and prevention and control measures with more than 90%.
