Thailand and USA join hands to solve trade barriers

BANGKOK, 9 March 2010 (NNT) – Thailand and the United State held a discussion to reduce trade barriers of the two countries.

The Deputy Permanent Secretary for Agriculture and Cooperatives had a meeting with the US Agriculture Ministry Executive on the import-export of fruits between the two countries.

Both countries agreed to apply the academic information for trade resolution, for example, randomized investigation and radiation including the use of academic principle to reduce trade barriers. The Department of Agriculture is the main agency to cooperate with the US to organize the academic seminar for better understanding in agricultural products trading.
