BFIIA to defeat bank frauds

BANGKOK, 19 October 2009 (NNT) – Bank& Financial Institution Internal Auditors Club (BFIIA) will hold a discussion with financial institutions and it partners in early December to overcome bank frauds.

The financial instuitions have been mostly affected from all sort of economic crimes done by the financial criminals and its network around the world, claimed the Chairman of BFIIA of The Thai Bankers’ Association, Mr. Tosaporn Ratanamartthip.

Investigation experts from the Department of Special Investigation as well as the Central Investigation Bureau, the Economic and Cyber Crime Division, the Royal Thai Police, and experts from the Court of Justice will work collectively with BFIIA to defeat the fraud within financial institutions.

The meeting with BFIIA partners and its 22 members will be held in early December to discuss over the new investigative technologies and to seek the best solutions to prevent bank crimes.
