PTT awarded best gas station in Thailand

BANGKOK, 16 December 2009 (NNT) – The Petroleum Authority of Thailand (PTT) Plc has received the highest gold medals for its gas stations in the Best Service and Safety Station Awards of the Ministry of Energy.

272 of the 437 awarded gas stations are operated by the PTT. The company has earned the highest prize for second year in a row.

The awards reflect that the PTT gas stations are up to standards in terms of product quality, safety, cleanliness, service, and management.

The project is launched by the Department of Energy Business under the Ministry of Energy. Energy Minister Wannarat Channukul presided over the award presentation ceremony. PTT President and CEO, Prasert Bunsumpun, also participated in the event.
