PTT ready to sell more petrol for New Year

BANGKOK, 29 December 2009 (NNT) – The PTT Plc has set plans to reserve more oil for distribution during the New Year long holidays via its 1,300 gas stations nationwide.

A PTT executive Prajya Phinyawat, stated on Tuesday that the PTT gas stations nationwide, particularly the ones located in famous tourist destinations such as Pai district in the northern province of Mae Hong Son, had stocked more fuel in order to meet with higher demand. He also confirmed the company’s retail oil prices would not be raised during the festive season despite the rising crude price in the global market.

Mr Prajya added that the marketing margin of diesel and benzene was likely to stand at 1.40 THB per liter which was still lower than an appropriate level.
