BANGKOK, 16 January 2010 (NNT) – The Ministry of Commerce will propose to the Central Committee for Goods and Services Prices to include natural gas retailing business in the list of controlled services.
Commerce Minister Pornthiva Nakasai said the ministry has received complaints of poor services of NGV stations. According to some of the complaints, the gas stations refused to sell NGV by claiming that they ran out of stock.
Currently, there are 39 businesses in the list, comprising 38 products and one service. The Cabinet next week will review the revised list.
Meanwhile, the committee has set up a panel to study the medical care and tutorial businesses before considering whether to add them into the list of controlled products and services.
