BANGKOK, 28 March 2010 (NNT) – The domestic benzene price might decrease further by 30-40 Satang per liter next week, according to Bangchak Petroleum President Dr Anusorn Sangnimnuan.
Dr Anusorn expected that prices of benzene products would decline rather than that of diesel next week due to the continuous price fluctuation. He said the current marketing margin stood at 1.80 THB per liter.
The president stated that the current crude oil price in the global market stood at 83 USD per barrel, so the domestic retail petroleum prices would not be adjusted within this week.
Regarding net sales of the Bangchak Plc during the ongoing rally of the United Front of Democracy Against Dictatorship (UDD), Dr Anusorn reported that the overall sale volume of the company had not fallen thus far, standing at around 200 million liter a month.
Nevertheless, the net sales of Bangchak gas stations located near the rally sites have been reported to decrease by 10%.
