TAT leads the private sector on a road show in South Korea

rivate sector on a road show in two major cities in South Korea, aiming to woo back Korean tourists.

The road show is aimed at the Korean market and to open up an opportunity for Thai and Korean private sectors to exchange information. There will be business negotiations in advance for the high season at year-end, among the two countries’ tourism operators.

Participants are Korean tourism operators, about 230 persons. On this occasion, Korean private sector and tourists will be informed and explained about the present situation in Thailand, so that they regain confidence in visiting Thailand.

Korean tourism market is another major target of the country. Around 600,000 to one million Korean people have so far visited Thailand. Thailand is among the top five destinations among them with several recognized places such as Phuket, Krabi, Samui and Pattaya. Major segments targeted by Thai tourism are honeymoon couples, golfers, women, leisure and education groups.
