BANGKOK, 09 May 2010 (NNT) – PTT and Bangchak Petroleum (BCP) announce to reduce retail prices of benzene 91, gasohol 91/95 and E20 by 0.80 THB each, while the price of E85 and diesel oil remain the same. Price reduction will be effective from 05.00 hrs of 10 May 2010.
According to PTT’s and BCP’s announcement, the two companies will reduce oil retail prices by 0.80 THB per liter. Retail prices in Bangchak’s and PTT’s petrol stations around Bangkok and surrounding provinces after the reduction will be as follows; 36.84THB/liter of benzene 91, gasohol 95 at 33.04THB/liter, gasohol 91 at 31.54THB/liter and E20 at 30.74 THB/liter.
The two firms explained that such a price reduction is due to the reduction of global oil prices, excluding E85 and diesel oil. If the global price of diesel oil continues to decrease, the companies will reduce its price by next week.
