TAT to launch Thailand Tourism Festival 2010 to stimulate domestic travels

Bangkok, 2 June 2010 (NNT) – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is getting ready to launch the annual “Thailand Tourism Festival 2010” (TTF 2010) which will be held next week at IMPACT, Muang Thong Thani.

The Thailand Tourism Festival (TTF) is organized annually in order to promote and stimulate domestic travel. And in 2010, the event will include many activities to promote the preservation of Thai culture, traditions and local lifestyle, featuring stage performances and demonstration of local art.

< The Governor of Tourism Authority of Thailand, Mr Suraphon Svetasreni stated that visiting this TTF 2010 would be a good opportunity to discover Amazing Thailand’s destinations as well as a wide range of tourism products. Visitors will be able to meet tour operators and receive special offers of tourism products and services from every region of the country.

Mr Suraphon further added that it is also a great chance for tourism entrepreneurs to directly meet consumers as to help them achieve business recovery and get back on their feet after being affected from a long period of political turmoil.

Thailand Tourism Festival 2010 (TTF 2010) is expected to receive more than 160,000 visitors with approximately 217.50 million baht in circulation at the fair. The event will be held from June, 9 to 13 at IMPACT, Muang Thong Thani. For more information visit www.tourismthailand.org or call 1672.
