BANGKOK, 12 May 2011 (NNT) – Domestic oil retailers and refineries PTT Plc, and Bangchak Petroleum Plc have increased their retail prices of benzene products by 60 satang per liter, except for E85, which is increased by 30 satang a liter, beginning from today at 05.00 hrs onwards.
The price adjustment is resulted from the higher prices of crude oil in the global market; therefore, the new retail oil prices at all PTT and Bangchak stations in Bangkok and its vicinities are as follows:
Benzene 91 now costs 43.54 baht per liter.
Gasohol 95 stands at 38.64 baht and Gasohol 91 at 36.14 baht per liter.
E20 is at 35.24 baht, while E85 at 22.62 baht per liter.
High-speed diesel remains at 29.99 baht per liter thanks to the government’s diesel price subsidy policy.
Caltex, a private oil retailer in Thailand, announced an increase in its retail prices of benzene by 60 satang per liter since Wednesday morning, claiming that the marketing margin of benzene products was downfrom 1.50 baht to 80 satang a liter following the rise in the global oil prices.
