BANGKOK, 22 June 2011 Democrat Leader Mr. Abhisit Vejjaiva has denied ever holding a discussion with any political parties in forming the next government while saying that the political campaign at Central World is not to ask for supports.
The Democrat Leader further stated that the process of forming the government was rather complex given the number of MPs, adding that Pheu Thai had already refused to join with Bhumijai Thai. However, Mr. ABhisit said Thai people would decide for themselves who should be in the next government.
The Democrat is reportedly looking to gain more than 250 seats in their campaign. Mr. Abhisit has admitted that Pheu Thai is becoming more popular according to recent polls; however, he said his support bases in Bangkok and Lower North were still good.
He continued to explain that the aim of the campaign near Ratchaprasong Intersection tomorrow had not been determined to gain votes, but would focus on the future of Thailand and the truth about what had happened in May last year.
