Advance polling has been smooth today

BANGKOK, 26 June 2011 (NNT)-The Election Committee has revealed that the advance voting today has been smooth although there are minor problems.

Bangkok Election Committee Ms. Kreuthip Theeranurak said after visiting election centers in Bangkean and Bangkapi districts that the advance voting had been without any problems today.

However, there were several voters who were confused about their constituencies and the voting procedures had been rather slow. Advance voters were later informed of the problems and the election process resumed as normal. The advance election today has been monitored by the Election Commission of Thailand, the Royal Thai police and the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration.
