Export clinic conducted to help increase exports by 15% next year

The Ministry of Commerce will invite 63 Thai trade ambassadors from all over the world to attend a seminar called Export Clinic to help Thai exporters learn more about markets in other countries, hoping the export will rise further to 15% by next year.

Deputy Commerce Minister Mr. Siriwat Kajornprasart said with confidence during the opening ceremony of the seminar that the Thai export next year will be worth 202.5 billion USD or an expansion of 15% in the export sector.

His projection came despite the economic woe in the U.S. and Europe in which he claimed the Commerce Ministry would increase the export volume by providing knowledge to local exporters of the global markets and encouraging them to further improve their products in order to meet the 15% target
