Highways closes more traffic channels

The Department of Highways announced the closure of additional traffic channels after water level had increased.

The traffic channels which have already been closed are; Dechatiwong Bridge, Nakhon Sawan province – Clearing the traffic before closing the bridge as the water level has reached the bridge-neck, U-Turn Bridge under Phra Nang Klao Bridge – Traffic closed, the section of the road from in front of the Future Park Shopping Complex Rangsit to Klong 4 is experiencing a water level of 10-25 cm. At the second kilometre, the water level is 25 cm.

According to the Department of Rural Roads, the flood-ravaged traffic routes have so far included 801 roads, with 604 roads accessible and the other 197 inaccessible, in 63 provinces. The current estimated cost of damage is 5,879.374 million THB.
