With the recent and planned development in the Ratchadapisek area, including new Shopping Malls and Office Buildings and not least the planned relocation of the Stock Exchange of Thailand to the area, the facelift also aims to make the property more competitive in the local F&B Market and to broaden the appeal of its rooms.
“The time is entirely right for this repositioning” said Mr Sawyere. “The whole Business dynamics of the area are changing and Swissôtel Le Concorde Bangkok is determined to maintain and cement its position as the leading property in the area. We aim to be ready to serve and exceed the fast growing needs and expectations of Business, MICE and Leisure visitors. This initiative is designed to attract a wider and a more diversified clientele. We are anxious to grow our business from all sectors and especially to develop business from new and emerging Markets”, added Mr Sawyere.
Possessing great confidence in the future of Thailand’s Tourism business, Le Concorde Hotel has been quietly acquiring land in a number of beach destinations, and apart from the renovation of its flagship Bangkok property, this year has allocated a budget of Bht 2 BN for two luxurious projects in Pattaya / Jomtien and Trad, revealed Mr Sawyere.
