The Energy Ministry is speeding up the decision on the new NGV price structure.

Speaking of the future NGV prices, Energy Minister Arak Chonlatanon revealed that he is waiting for the study result about the NGV pipeline costs before the energy committee can conclude the new NGV price structure. The NGV price has been adjusted four times this year from 8.50 baht to the current price of 10.50 baht per kilogram.

Mr Arak also remarked that PTT can decide on its own whether to build more NGV stations or not, as some private companies have indicated that they could open new NGV stations with lower production costs than PTT’s.
