Colombia Comes to Asia

Colombia’s buyers and exhibitors are set to make a greater impact on Hong Kong trade shows. The country is diversifying its trade focus on Asia under an alliance with Chile, Peru and Mexico, and ahead of an expected free trade agreement with China, says HKTDC Economist Louis Chan.

China’s Metropolitan Multiplier

China’s rapid urbanisation will be led by the development of 20 city clusters, says Billy Wong, HKTDC Senior Economist (Greater China), in the March edition of the Hong Kong Trade Quarterly. These metropolitan circles will foster lower-tier cities and build huge demand for services such as catering and entertainment.
