Finggo invests 30 million baht in new online platform to answer the needs of Thai consumers in the digital age

Finggo, a new brand of online platform from Haier, has invested 30 million baht to build a complete that combines e-commerce and social media activities to response to the needs of Thai consumers. The new platform kicks start with the sales of Finggo mobile phones.

 

Mr. Yoshiaki Ito, President and Chief Executive Officer of Haier Asia, revealed that as the lifestyle of modern consumers changes continuously, the Haier Group has announced the fifth step of its strategies to build a network while different information and needs rapidly emerge. Conventional enterprise has to adapt itself to the networking era and Haier choose to build a platform to communicate with consumers. Through this channel, all resources from across the globe will be available to answer consumer needs and Haier transforms itself from manufacturer to service provider in order to create new lifestyles for the consumers under the Finggo brand.

 

“Finggo utilizes e-commerce with fast and convenient online shopping system that follows a modern lifestyle. This reflects the Finggo name which combines two words – Finger and Go. With just a click of their finger tip, consumers will discover tons of activities and mobile gadgets. The new platform at www.finggo.net is packed with a range of exciting features that response to the needs of modern consumers who love to be always connected with the online network and always communicating with their friends through the social network”.

 

Mr. Ito said that Finggo.net comprises two significant parts including the E-Contest platform which is Thailand’s first arena for online contest and the E-Commerce platform which provides online shopping for IT gadgets and accessories.  With convenience and safety, consumers can make a purchase at Finggo.net and wait for the merchandise delivered quickly at their home. They can easily browse for Finggo products and activities anytime and anywhere on a desktop and mobile device because of the responsive design that automatically adjusts the website layout to suit any screen. Mr. Ito disclosed that the platform will kick start with the launch of a Finggo smart phone Model FWSP-S1000 which comes with 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6582X Quad Core CPU,
a 720 x 1280 pixel IPS HD 5.0” screen, 7.8 mm thickness, 8 mega pixel camera, available in Ovaltine Gold and Matrix Black colors at 6,990 baht. Another product is a Finggo tablet, Model FWTA-T1000 with a 800 x 1280 pixel IPS HD 8.0” screen, Android 4.4.2, 1.3 GHz CPU, 2 mega pixel camera and complete functions in a modern design.

 

“For the first time in Thailand, the Finggo Online Contest Community will feature many contest activities that provide both fun and knowledge for those who want something different.
