According to the Prime Minister, in his opening speech, as every country in the world has been constantly faced with many challenges – be they in the forms of economic, financial, social, environmental, and global security, inter-regional cooperation is thus a crucial framework to carry forward the global initiatives agreed upon. He further noted that following the theme of this AMED III meeting ‘Strengthening Cooperation towards Common Prosperity’, a great success with fruitful outcomes would certainly be created.

The event covers a wide range of issues such as “Current Security Challenges: Interregional Solutions”, “Risks and Opportunities in the Interdependent Economic World”, “Identifying Potential Business Opportunities among AMED Members”, “Economic Complementarity: Energy-Food Security Cooperation”, and “Increasing Peoples’ Connectivity through Educational and Cultural Cooperation”.
