BANGKOK, 4 January 2010 (NNT) – The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) and the Alzheimer Foundation of Thailand will organize an event to screen and prevent Alzheimer patients among senior citizens.
According to Deputy Bangkok Governor, MD Malinee Sukavejworakit, the event will be arranged to tackle Alzheimer among senior citizens. She elaborated that any Alzheimer patients found in the event would receive good care and continuous treatment from public health offices in the area.
The ‘Memory Screening Day’ event will be organized on 10 January 2010 at Lumpini Park from 8.30 to 18.00 hrs. Alzheimer patients screening and consultation services will be rendered by physicians and specialists free of charge.
