BoI: Subcon Thailand expected to generate 4 bn THB in trade

BANGKOK, 10 May 2010 (NNT) – The Board of Investment (BoI) expects at least four billion THB of trade value to be generated during the industrial subcontracting exhibition, Subcon Thailand 2010.

BoI Director Duangjai Asawachintachit said there would be foreign businesspersons from over 70 countries, such as Japan, China, France, England, Australia, Italy and Vietnam, joining this year’s Subcon Thailand trade show to engage in business talks with Thai parts manufacturers. She expected to see more than 4,000 business operators pairing up for negotiations and a total trade value worth at least 4 billion THB.

The event will feature seminars on the general economic outlook, investment sentiment in Thailand, and the BoI’s role in the promotion of small and medium enterprises.

The Subcon Thailand 2010 will be organized from 13-15 May 2010 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Center (BITEC).
