Canadian International Trade Minister Joins BlackBerry in Celebrating its 1 Millionth Customer Milestone in Thailand

Bangkok, Thailand, 27 March 2012 – The Honourable Ed Fast, Minister of International Trade, Canada, congratulates the one millionth BlackBerry customer in Thailand along with Mr. Nicholas Horton, Managing Director of Indochina for Research in Motion (RIM) on 24 March 2012.

 

Minister Fast visited the first dedicated BlackBerry by Jaymart Lifestyle Store at Siam Paragon mall in Bangkok as part of a celebration of the 50^th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Canada. RIM, a leading Canadian company, has had a long standing commitment to Thailand and continues to invest in the country and its smartphone market. Last September, BlackBerry opened its first dedicated lifestyle store in Thailand.

 

The lucky 1 millionth BlackBerry customer received a trip for two to Toronto, Canada. Apart from that the customer also received a BlackBerry Bold 9790.
