Duke of York relayed a message from the Queen of England to His Majesty the King

BANGKOK, 7 October 2009 (NNT) – HRH Princess Chulabhorn welcomed Prince Andrew Albert Christian Edward, the Duke of York, who signed a well-wisher book at Siriraj Hospital and presented a flower vase in front of the royal portrait. He also relayed a message from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II of England to His Majesty the King.

The royal message from the Queen of England was the expression of Her Majesty’s concerns over the health of His Majesty and her best wishes for his quick recovery. HRH Princess Chulabhorn also conveyed His Majesty the King’s sincere thanks to Queen Elizabeth through the Duke of York.

Prince Andrew Albert Christian Edward, the Duke of York is the second son of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh. This is his sixth visit to promote and strengthen relations between Thailand and the United Kingdom especially in terms of economy, trade, investment and tourism.
