EGAT, Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, recently signed a 7-Year

EGAT, Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, recently signed a 7-Year Service Agreement (Multi-year Maintenance Program) with GE Energy to provide maintenance services for GE gas turbines at EGAT’sNorth Bangkokpower plant (700MW Power Plant). GE will provide parts, repairs and technical expertise for the 2 units of 9FA+e DLN2.0+; in addition to the two existing 9FA units currently under GE service contracts.     EGAT and GE Energy have a long history of partnership since the first GE’s Frame 5 gas turbine was supplied in the 1970s for the LanKrabue Power Plant.    This contract further affirms the trust EGAT has in GE’s products and services and will forge a closer partnership between the two parties.
