Exim Bank to expand loans and services for investment abroad

BANGKOK, 6 March 2010 (NNT) – Export-Import Bank of Thailand or EXIM Bank is ready for loan issuance and information services to support Thai investment abroad particularly in the Mekong sub-region countries.

The EXIM Bank managing Director, Apichai Bunteeravorn, stated that the bank was in the process of expanding credit release and information services for all Thai investors with investment projects abroad.

He said that the EXIM Bank also aimed to promote the investment projects in target countries such as tourism business, agriculture and agricultural products investment in Lao PDR, power plant and related industries in Cambodia, retail businesses in Vietnam, fishery products and lignite mine in Indonesia and construction business in India. The new markets in Russia and Africa will also be promoted for all Thai investors, said the EXIM Bank Director.
