Flock of visitors in BIG & BIH 09

BANGKOK, 18 October 2009 (NNT) – The Bangkok International Gift Fair (BIG) & Bangkok International Houseware Fair (BIH), held at Impact Challenger Halls, Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi during 13-18 October received good feedback from visitors.

More than 15,000 visitors flocked to the BIG & BIH Fair during 13-16 October, where people purchased many attractive home appliances, gifts and more.

In addition, the Ministry of Commerce said that the BIG and BIH exhibition could help boost and circulate more than 700 Million Baht in the Thai economy. Hence, export values for houseware and homemade gifts would be nearly the same as last year, approximately 18 Billion USD or 62 Billion Baht.

The main markets include the United States, Japan, England, and European Union countries. The new markets are Saudi Arabia, Finland, United Arab Emirates and Mexico.
