BANGKOK, 1 June 2009 (NNT) – The Criminal Court has resolved to postpone the hearing date of eighty-two protesters, who were accused of breaking into the NBT station until September 14 at 1.30 p.m.
Security guards of the People’s Alliance for Democracy, alias the Srivichai Warriors, had been charged with illegally organizing gathering of 5 people, inciting public disorder and trespassing on government property on 26 August 2008.
The court ruled that the postponement would benefit the defendants in fighting the case as no opposition was lodged by the plaintiffs. The court also urged two sides to abide by the court’s hearing date without any accuse.
