According to KASIKORNBANK CEO Mr. Banthoon Lamsam, KBank’s Board of Directors has resolved to appoint new Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Directors to replace vacant positions, which received concurrence form the Bank of Thailand, effective from March 1, 2013 onwards. Details are as follows:
1) Mr. Banthoon Lamsam shall be appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors and
Chief Executive Officer
2) Mr. Somchai Bulsook shall be appointed as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors
3) Mr. Krisada Lamsam shall be appointed as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors,
and Non-Executive Director
4) Mr. Predee Daochai shall be appointed as Director, and President
5) Mr. Teeranun Srihong shall be appointed as Director, and President
The Board of Directors Meeting of KBank resolved to propose to the meeting of shareholders No. 101, on April 3, 2013 to elect Dr. Piyasvasti Amranand and Mr. Kalin Sarasin, as Independent Directors, and Mr. Somkiat Sirichatchai as a Non-executive Director, which received concurrence from the Bank of Thailand.

Dr. Prasarn Trairatvorakul, the sixth KBank President in 2004. He resigned from the Bank to take the Bank of Thailand’s governor position in 2010.
Mr. Predee Daochai and Mr. Teeranun Srihong, the seventh and eighth KBank President in 2013
Mr. Predee Daochai, 54, graduated with a Bachelor of Law, 2nd Class Honors, Thammasat University, before being granted a scholarship from KBank and graduating with a Master of Comparative Law, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, U.S.A. In 1982, he joined KBank‘s Legal Department, and later became First Vice President, Co-General Manager, Hong Kong Branch, the Overseas Branch Administration & Correspondent Relations Department. He then served in the Manufacturing and Service Industry Credit Department, the Credit and Collateral Control Department, and the Debt Restructuring Department, and was promoted to First Senior Vice President in 2000 and Executive Vice President in 2004. He was appointed Senior Executive Vice President and the Risk Domain Coordinator in 2010.
Mr. Teeranun Srihong, 47, graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, before being granted a scholarship from KBank and graduating with a Master of Business Administration, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, U.S.A. He joined KBank’s Treasury Department in 1988, and became First Vice President of the department before becoming Senior Vice President of the Wholesale Business Marketing and Product Department. He was promoted to First Senior Vice President in 2001, Executive Vice President in 2006, and Senior Executive Vice President and the Infrastructure Domain Coordinator in 2010.
Mr. Krisada Lamsam, 48, graduated with a Master of Arts, Oregon State University, U.S.A. He joined KBank’s Treasury Department in 1991 and later became First Vice President, Credit and Collateral Control Department, and Co-Head, Debt Restructuring Department. He was promoted to First Senior Vice President in 2001, Executive Vice President in 2006, and Senior Executive Vice President and the Business Domain Coordinator in 2010.
Mr. Somkiat Sirichatchai, 48, graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (with Honors), Chulalongkorn University, before being granted a scholarship from KBank and graduating with a Master of Business Administration (Finance), The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, U.S.A. He joined KBank’s Business Development Department in 1991 and later became First Vice President of the Investment Management Department and the Executive Services Department. He was promoted to First Senior Vice President in 2001, Executive Vice President in 2004, and Senior Executive Vice President and the Resource Domain Coordinator in 2010.
