Krungsri Consumer Won Visa International Asia Pacific Award As The Best Business Leader of the Year in the Innovative Channel

Bangkok, 4 July 2013 – Thakorn Piyapan, Managing Director of Krungsri Consumer received “Best Business Leader of the Year in the Innovative Channel” Award from Somboon Krobteeranon, Country Manager, Myanmar and Thailand of Visa International (Asia-Pacific) LLC (right) and Peter Maher, Group Country Manager of Visa International – Southeast Asia (left) .   The award presentation ceremony was held recently at Conrad Hotel.

This award was presented to Krungsri Consumer for the best innovation offered to its cardholders especially Mobile Point of Sales (mPOS), also known as Krungsri Quick Pay, a mobile payment solution that turns a smart phone and tablet into a secure acceptance mobile point of sales, offering business partners and cardholders convenience and reliability, anywhere and anytime accessibility.  The business partners using Krungsri Quick Pay are for example life insurance business, general insurance business, auto business, direct sales business, delivery service business,  restaurant business including restaurants in Yaowarat China Town area, and so on.
