No plan to cut gasoline supply to Cambodia

BANGKOK, 13 November 2009 (NNT) – Thailand will keep supplying gasoline to Cambodia despite both country’s diplomatic spat.

Minister of Energy, MD Wannarat Channukul, said Thailand-Cambodia gasoline trade remained normal, yet Thailand had not cut any supply of gas and oil to Cambodia. The government had been in cooperation with PTT Public Company Limited to supply 300 tons of aircraft petrol as well as automobile petrol to Cambodia each month.

Thailand and Cambodia are involved in a diplomatic spat after Cambodia appoint former Thai Prime Minister Mr Thaksin Shinawatra as an economic advisor. Thailand has downgraded diplomatic relations and reviewed mutual cooperation and loans given to Cambodia.
