TAT organizes “Amazing Thailand Grand Sale 2010” to boost sales in tourism

BANGKOK, 13 June 2010 (NNT) – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is organizing the “Amazing Thailand Grand Sale 2010” event to boost consumption in the tourism sector and help build up a positive image of Thailand.

Minister of Tourism and Sports, Chumpol Silapa-Archa stated that the “Amazing Thailand Grand Sale 2010” event was held with an aim of stimulating demand among tourists in order to increase revenue in the tourism sector and strengthen the country’s tourism reputation.

By the event, Mr Chumpol mentioned that the ministry expected to see at least 1.8 million THB in circulation.

Throngs of people have reportedly been flocking to the event since yesterday. The event will be arranged from 12 to 13 June 2010 during 10.00hrs – 21.00 hrs at Challenger Hall 1, IMPACT Arena Exhibition and Convention Center.
