THAI Celebrates Father’s Day 2011 with Traditional Thai Cuisine

To celebrate His Majesty the King’s Birthday and Thailand’s National Father’s Day 2011, Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) will serve special traditional Thai dishes to passengers flying THAI flights. Passengers traveling THAI in Royal First Class will be served “Mee nam” (fried noodle soup).  Passengers in Royal Silk Class and Economy Class will savor the mildly spicy flavor of fish in red curry paste. The traditional Thai cuisine will be available on international routes departing from Bangkok, Thailand during 4-6 December 2011 (except on flights with breakfast served). Based on the “Chef Gallery by THAI” campaign, these special international in-flight menus were specially designed by Chef Jiraarpa Tanbooncharoen from Swissotel Nai Lert Park Hotel, one of five international chefs featured by THAI from Bangkok’s restaurants and five-star hotels.
