Thai goods to be sold at Ko Kong Fair in Cambodia

BANGKOK, 2 December 2009 (NNT) – Cambodia has confirmed the collaboration from Thai side to supply OTOP and consumer products to the Ko Kong Product Fair in Cambodia, according to the Deputy Governor of eastern Trat Province, Mr Prateep Jongsuepthum.

The Interior Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cambodia confirmed the policy on the collaboration of Thailand and Cambodia at a product fair in Ko Kong, the Southwestern province of Cambodia. Goods and commodity from Thailand will be displayed at over 300 booths being set up at the fair which will take place at the beginning of 2010.

Business entrepreneurs of Trat province will showcase their OTOP products as well as factory-made products at the fair. Product supplies from Thailand would help increasing the new market segments as well as the improvement on trade and investment between both sides, tourism industries and most importantly the two countries’ bilateral relations.
