Thais in UK support PM Abhisit

BANGKOK, 12 May 2010 (NNT) – Thai people in the United Kingdom voice supports to the Abhisit Vejjajiva’s administration.

Thai Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Kitti Wasinondh on Wednesday led 14 Thais based in the United Kingdom to meet Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva at the Parliament.

Thai people in the UK were reportedly concerned over the current political situation and expressed sympathy for the government. Most people would like to see an urgent crowd dispersal operation, but the Prime Minister viewed that a serious dispersal would only bring more loss to the nation.

Mr Abhisit claimed that the government’s operation had been conducted following the different political opinions, hence, an adoption of the National Reconciliation Plan.

The Prime Minister was then praised for doing his best to resolve the political crisis. Thais in the UK have pledged to deliver truths on behalf of the Thai people and the government in the United Kingdom.
